Booked a spa pedicure for my aged mother, age 91. Her first pedicure (in her life) and when she came to visit me, I saw her feet were in dire straights and in need of care. I was careful to book a spa pedicure at a podiatrist's office out of caution.
The staff greeting us were friendly and helpful, they saw us park near a back door and held it open while I helped my mother out of the car and into the facility with a walker. The staff member giving the pedicure was friendly and gentle and reassuring.
The staff member giving the pedicure was confident of her skills and kept reassuring us she did a great job and knew how to help -- and she did. Pity it was her last day (she confided) so we couldn't book a return with her specifically.
The facility was clean and comfortable.
The only downside was two issues. One, when I booked the appointment, I was quoted $65.00, but when I checked out, I was charged $75 because "a new guest pays $10 extra." Why? To set us up in the system I suppose. That's not a reassuring practice when I specifically asked for the price when I booked the appointment, and was not quoted this $10 "newbie" policie.
Second, my mother's feet were in rough shape so there was a lot of time necessary to trim and file down long nails, perhaps longer than average. I'm guessing this may be why no offer was made to paint the nails after the maintenance. Her nails were trimmed and filed, her legs and skin were massaged with exfoliating scrub, and she was rested with warm towels on her legs, and were "done."
There was no offer to paint her toenails although they had colors in racks all over the salon spa, so they do offer polish.
As I said, perhaps it was because the pedicure took a little longer than average? There was no one else in the salon waiting, were were alone with the technician.
We liked her very much and appreciate the care given, but not certain we'll return or not. There was no "medical oversight" unless we had chosen to book a consultation with Dr. Van Pham (which we didn't), but we trusted the staff member knew what she was doing. The primary benefit was being alone in a salon without a lot of people for a first-time experience for an elderly woman, so she felt more secure.

Dr. Pham is very professional and his staff is as well. I was referred to him by my PCP and could not be happier. I have a heal spur and plantar fasciitis issues and he took x-rays and took the time to explain why I have the spurs and what exercises & stretches to do to alleviate the pain. His office staff are really helpful and nice to work with.

I have been going to doctor Van Pham for several years now. I have a number of foot issues and he is very helpful in dealing with them. He performed surgery awhile back for some bone spurs and a joint that was almost gone. He saved the joint and my foot no longer hurts there. I highly recommend Dr. Pham.

It was a very relaxing time on Monday and on Friday wasn’t really relaxing but it was not Unrelaxing. (New word). I had a very attractive and professional attendant do the work. Thanks.

I have my feet checked every 9 weeks due to a number of issues...toenail fungus, foot neuropathy, etc. For an extra $15 the treatment now includes a massage and soak. Due to my foot issues, I think this extra treatment is worthwhile.
